Qingdao JZLEAP Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was established in 2021 based on the agreement signed by Qingdao Jiazhan Holding Group and LEAP Semiconductor Co. It is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to researching, production, and sales of single crystalline silicon carbide (SiC) substrates.

SiC is a third-generation semiconductor material highly anticipated by applications of new energy and advanced communication. To solve problems of SiC commer- cialization, JZLEAP Semiconductor firstly set up a professional production line for SiC crystal cutting, wafer grinding, and wafer polishing in China to connect China’s R&D achievements of SiC crystallography in the last 15 years with the commer- cializing of international leading manufacturers.

JZLEAP Semiconductor is located at the Semiconductor Industrial Park of Jiazhan Wisdom Valley, which was planned and constructed by Qingdao Jiazhan Holding Group. To enable participants in SiC semiconductor to settle in Qingdao, Qingdao Jiazhan Holding Group has opened up 120000m² as the Jiazhan Wisdom Valley. Optimization of Jiazhan Wisdom Valley and engaging experts of the SiC chain will advance front of the technologies more efficiently and enhance competitiveness of the domestic SiC industry in China.-
